nrg files

Does anyone know how to ... put the nrg files I have downloaded on to disc?
Car is a Renault, CD Sat Nav.
I have tried burning with Alcohol 120%, no joy.
I have tried Nero burning it as straight data, no joy
I have opened my nrg with Nero, and it says it is burning.. but, no joy (it says it is burning, even when cd draw is out!)
I have used a nrg to iso converter, then burned that, no joy.
My sat nav disc spits em all out.

Although, a snide copy of France CD I have, when looked at with windows explorer, shows just one file... an .nrg one. And I know that that one works.

maybe you have a bad download
have you tried extracting the files (not sure if nero has that option) but you can extract the files with magic iso

Hi smoggy, for a min there I thought you meant have I extracted from .rar lol. then I re-read.
Yeah I have just extracted it, using isobuster and there does seem something different to my usual files, the snide france cd has a totally different set of files when extracted to the other downloads I have.
I dunno if there is a different system in later models, all I did was search rapidshare for Carminat CD basically. I just thought the car models later than mine were DVD based Nav systems.
Thanks for the reply mate, I might try find some other files somewhere if you, or others no of any reliable sources, My car is a 03 model Laguna, cd based.

I ll look into it now m8 , will let you know ,btw there are 3 or 4 different versions of carminat and few other units depending on the year and model which is used by Renault.

I ll keep you posted. Btw Use imgburn and burn at speed 2.4x for car dvds.

cheers Nevo, its a CD based version mate. I do burn at a slow rate.
