Happy new year everyone.
I have tried to repair this before with no luck. Just thought one of you Guys may no the cure.
I have 4 x 2040 CD players with the same problem, all dead. I have stripped them all down to board and display.
Whan I apply some moisture to certain parts of the board I get the display flashing for the code.
Whan I get this I only seem to have 9v on the board where I should get 11v and the display is dim.
I disconnect power and reconnect then it is dead again. I have changed many caps around the supply and still the same problem on all of them.
Hope someone can help.
