On 2004 ecu virgin file will normally autocode to car if key and Uch are good ..
Howw you can tell if key and uch are good is to look at immo light on what it is doing ...

If you trying to read on bench try to desolder eeprom out. I think its not possible read out when immo is not unlock. Or put in car, but you must have immo problem solved...
