Has anyone managed to write flash to a blank 2j74y with orange 5? It reads fine but I can't write flash,even in a blank / erased chip. Don't have etl.

Maybe you have some bad chineese chips ?? Some of them read well but cant write as in your case.

Thanks guys, I have read a few things about Orange not writing these thought I would ask if anyone has first hand experience. Maybe I have bad chips, would make sense.

I read 4j4y by orange5 - read sec bit first. second - read eeprom\flash.

I swop EIS in the end. Orange would not write flash tried a few new chips.

reads perfect just won't write even to new mcu
