Skoda Fabia Airbag 65535

Hi, i have tried to read the airbag fault codes using vcds but unfortunately the airbaglight cameon and now shows error 65535.
Than i tired to read the eeprom using vag.exe but no luck..
How i have to proceed now?

Did you try simple cable vag kkl and program Vag eeprom programmer 1.19 ?

Yes, thats exactly what i did.. Do i have to remove fuses?

what do you mean? Dtc clean in k+can commander? No luck.. I tried to read using vag eeprom but it doesent work at all.. The instrument cluster worked.. im a litle confused

I have removed the Airbagmodule from the car...
Is it possible to connect the kline interface directly to the control unit?
If not...
What programmer i need to read the mcu?
What software can i use..?

With Vag Eepromer you have to read it on table , direct connect. But Error 65535 I do not think you can fix it,your clone Vag-Com was proably made very low quality and load Bug in Processor.
But you can try , this should be pin out :

K-line = pin 54
GND = pin 51,
12V= pin 26,

VCDS light is good software with out any bugs. But most likely your cable is not good.

Used module can be install but need to find same Index Number , and has to be same coding, and that is so hard to make it happen bacuse they have like 10-15 different once for same car.

Is it possible to recode used modules? Or maybee rwite a dump of a new module on my module?
I have found a few on ebay whit same Index code on the module, but i have read that the index code on the sticker of the module is not the index code i need for coding??

I do not think it will work if you write original dump in it , as I think MCU and eeprom has to match.

Some yes , but some No.Like I told you before , you have to be very Lucky to get same what you have .

I found a few like this, whit the same Index and Part Number but the code on the Bottom doesent match..
There is one on ebay whit the same number and code but the index on the sticker doesent match

In my case the 6Q0 909 605 H 02 is needed, where is the 02 writen on the sticker?
Is it possible to use an other module and recode it?


Is it a good idea to buy a china clone carprog, somone may know a good/cheap shop in europe?

Hi o5i, any results? I have exactly the same problem on Fabia with airbag unit 6q0909605h damaged by scanning address 15 by VCDS-lite combined with cheap VAG KKL cable (chip CH340, not FTDI). Did you manage to solve the problem?
