Kess v2 4.036 trucks grayed out

Hello. I have bough a china clone VGC kess, unfortunately all the truck protocols are grayed out. I have searched for days about solution, but everywhere I read things are half mouth and I tried changing files on SD, but things got worse. So does anybody know how to unlock the trucks on this ? I have the truck icon but all trucks are grayed out.

Poor photo quality, but if serial is xxxxx818, there is not heavy trucks available(only light trucks). So wrong firmware, you can't do nothing with that. Only way is find other firmware(need replace MCU), serial xxxxx102. There is also heavy trucks activated.

Thanks for the info, indeed the serial is k10033818. Where can I find other firmware to upload ? Is it loaded on the new MCU with Jlink ?

I think that you will need empty MCU to write another firmware in it.

You can't flash again that MCU if there is all ready 4.036, because its locked. Maybe heating solution(google or youtube more info) help to unlock, but with NEW EMPTY MCU can flash other firmware dump(xxxx102) That dump is harder to get because coming with only EU Kess. Chinese Kess use that xxxxx818 dump what you use now.

NEW MCU meaning, you have to desolder MCU and flash then again with another firmware(xxxxx102) + replace SD -card, because files are different also.

yes the serial and group code/client codes are inside the 4.036.bin

try to unlock your nxp with hot air solution posted into forum....after that,need to reflash nxp with new firmware with trucks inside
or...buy another kess 3.099 (nxp is unlocked with this firmware) and contact me for more things
