EDC16 Immo Off!

It's EDC17. I suppose BKP engine. Even K+CAN commander 7.0 can't do that.
If you will find info that it's possible, pls advice.
FYI now commander is able to prepare dealer's key for Passat B6 and adapt it to the car using appropriate transponders.

I have tuned some newer vags the last years and have never seen 07 with edc17. If K+CAN commander cant fix it i belive a full bdm read will do.

It's not EDC17, it's EDC16!

First of all we need to know what engine is in that vehicle. I easy change mileage and make immo off in EDC16 using official commander. The year is not complete boarder between EDC16 and EDC17. For example, i changed by cable mileage in instrument cluster and ECU of Touareg 2008 2.5TDi (EDC16) and was not able to change one in ECU 3.0TDi (EDC17) of the same year and model. When i wanted to align mileage in Passat B6 2006 BKP 2.0TDi, my commander not connected at all. I didn't pay for option EDC17. I asked Abrites and the wrote that this car EDC17.

Before answering such confidently, pls ask author which exactly engine we are speaking of.
