Benz C, E, S, SL & CL Mileage ezs etc

For my USA based guys only if I'm doing 2003-2010 what's the safest option?
install can filter then program dash? Block ezs sync set to 1.6 mill then do dash etc?
Gonna take the plunge into start messing with MB but only older stuff and most common models in US. Gimmie your toughts and experience have you been doing it for years? Have you done 1 or 7 or hundreds? Thanx think this would be a useful thread.

I magine on newer stuff you would want MB star and a whole lot of gadgets and know how to do ezs, eis, batt, seats or whatever dash etc.

Fsb3? That a software version? What about older models when read with diagnostic don't show ezs mileage? Do newer models show ezs mileage with filter?
