Please open the BGA key (please carefully open), check the BGA chip.

In many cases, Is the BGA solder ball, there is a problem, you will IC removed, the use of steel mesh, re-ball, welding to the original location, the majority can solve this failure.

All can achieve the goal

According to their own experience and welding effort

Good luck to you - BGA is beyond most here unless your a PCB company.

Best order another fob, or end in tears

Would not pay to fix this.
New key and move on to next jobs.

Pretty easy with a bit of practise... plently of space on that board

put temperature probe under pcb.
warm area for a minute or two
slowly increase chip temperature by concentrating on chip more and more rather than heating the pcb.
Use tweezers to remove the chip and note the temperature it comes off.

When refitting very very thin flux on board.
place chip.
Warm pcb for a minute or two.
aim to raise the chip temperature over 2-3 minutes until the temperature reads a few degrees more than the temperature it was when removed (if using leaded solder minus around 20 degrees)

Can use hot air station use nozzle a bit bigger that the chip... around medium air.... around 400 degrees and keep moving.

Situation where fixing the key can yield maximum profit. W221 where lost keys cannot be achieved, and the key stopped working to start the car. Then I would use this tool to attempt to repair it and make maximum profit.

Of course practice with basic keys prior.

Try to exercise their own welding technology, so that the greatest profits

Match the new key, I personally think that is not worth it

Repair the old key, very simple

Shouldn't a simple reheating of the chip be enough?

They are country's which a key like that is maybe 300 or more. And takes few days to come in by vin no. So you repair that for half price in max 1 hour. 😉

Every country, every region, the charges are not the same

This work, if the basic good, comprehensive equipment, half an hour can be completed
