Hi Guys!

I have tryied to find instructions how to remove Fap filter from 607 Peugeot.

I can do that machanically, but most probably it is also needed to change some parameters also in Ecu?

I have ordered allready Peugeot/Citroen Lexia cable and Peugeot Planet.

Is it possible to change those parameters with those? Or is it possible at all?

Anyway I can refill that eyolis tank and reset the counter. But to be honest I want to get rid off that whole particle filter.

Does anyone have instructions how to do that?

Anyway this forum looks very nice and lot of very interesting discussions are found from there. Thanks a lot about this forum. Very good work.:cheer:

Hi, i have a 406 2.2 hdi coupe and have removed the fap 10000 miles ago with no problems.

I had the ecu remapped and the fap software blocked out by a local company, removed the cat and filter from the exhaust, left the forward sensor from the dp switch connected and the temperature sensor connected.

turbo picks up sooner and no more antipollution faults!!!

Hi Iain V

Have you seen this thread (http://www.peugeot406coupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=26678) in the 406 coupe forum on the same subject? I would love to hear your input and who and where helped you out as I hope to do the same in the very near future.

Best Regards
