Hi!
I have a customer who bought this china key. As I'm not key expert, read it with TAG key tool and make photo about ID. I want to know if I can adapt it to CAS2 system.
numbers on key chip:
NXP
26A0700
MM40403
TX6441

Thanks!

I really don't think it's possible. Perhaps the transponder can start car but remote definitely will not work.

I've done one before...it's work but the response of the remote just not as good as the original.

Adapt the key with tagkey tool by CAS2 dump. Key starts the car but remote doesn't work :(.
probably because of pcf 7945.

Changed to PCF7944. Car starts but remote still doesn't work. Any idea?

Remote even can't make any radio signal. Could this be because of bad programming?

How did you do that? Pcf 7944 and 7945 have different footprint...

I ask you again...how did you do that? Pcf7945 has 28 legs...pcf7944 16...

Transponder's ID indicates the type...so probably both are the same...but different id...chinese games...
Solder back ori transponder and find someone with tmpro and bmw cas function, renew it and write it again with tmpro...because only with tmpro remote will work again...

Don'T know, customer bring it. Anyone can tell me how can I read transponder again after programming locked it? As I know I must give correct SK low and high in order read user pages. I think problem is that in user page0 the second digit is not 4 what indicates it is BMW remote.
Can be SK low and SK high get from CAS2 dump?

Here we go...

key3=
sk HI= 25AD
sk LO= 49DD3380
config= C858C2A7
Sync = 254CCA6A

key4:
sk HI=4F49
sk Lo=E59E77A6
config= C8AE4ECF
Sync = CA196518

take attention to transponder only PCF 7943PCF 7944PCF 7945PCF 7952 wil be compatible with remote function...
if your Hitag detect 7942-45 then there is something wrong...

M8, I dont use abrites for Hitag but you have use the wrong section...
this section is to unlock your transponder data, there for you get error about transponder...
you need to write your remote data on the proper area = "Remote Control Memory"

and take care of your key!
Key3= ID =D86A4E97
Key4= ID =8A44FA41

dont mix this ket ID...!

So just write data you gave me, into the "remote control memory" section?

1 step= read your key with Hitag
2 step= look at Identifier number (this must match to data of Key 3/4) attention here! dont mix it!
3 step= write data to proper location in "remote control section"

if your remote still fail to work...
try with programming...

switch ignition on with the key and wait 15 seconds thenturn ignition off and take key off.
Repeat this process one time more.
Take the key out from the ignition lock, close all doors and pushthe “Cose” button 2x times.

So finally, remote works. Customer bring another key with good frequency(868) write with tag key tool and works ok. The first remote was 315Mhz

Took pictures of the differences in PCB? i have the same useless keys... Abrites says unrecognizable during the normal OBD/hitag procedure

Strangely, both keys i have got 13.568Mhz Oscillator, with C9 and C10 populated.
BUT L2 received a 0 ohm resistor instead of a coil (L1 has a coil as expected)...
