3C0 920 870 P SW4240 Micronas OLD -> ERROR in LCD

Hi guys,


I have here Passat cluster 3C0 920 870 P SW4240 which is Micronas OLD.
This cluster is showing ERROR in display, maybe somebody worked on it before, I don't know.

Any ideas what could cause this error for Micronas OLD ?
Is it possible to erase DTC area in eeprom? What address range if so?

It is a VDO cluster.

What errors you have? Read with vcds.

When the cluster was in customer's car it had some specific error but I didn't copy it.
Now when connected on table, I see only the normal errors about missing sensors.

Problem solved!
There was a missing led (airbag) as Amigokola suggested :)
When I put a new led the error was gone.

I have same as Error but Airbag led is Ok. All led is ok. I need idea...

Try to erase DTC area in eeprom with FF's.
If you don't know DTC area then read eeprom in car (just 1 error) then read eeprom on bench (many errors).
You should be able to find the area by comparing eeproms.

It can also be something else is damaged in eeprom or flash, perhaps by some other tool...
