I tested 4 devices but I could not do it,
Now my chip is All FF in first 2 lines

Yes,mate with A11 eraser it cannot erase 35160wt I got 4 eeprom that it won't do

You must do it in epron editor and put FF in 4 frist lines...and programme...

160dwq is possible but 35160WT not possible

I do not have this device .only I have R270 and x-tool and CG100 and UPA and xprog..for 35160 eraser.

Can I use my R270 to only erase/blank the vin on 35160WT? Mileage is ok, just need to clear the VIN. Do I have to desolder the EEPROM first?

You should always remove eeprom as for vin it should be ok to change as it will not be in the secured part of the eeprom

I think big problem where people not have this programmer.And no problem where you have this.
And if people want to do work with this chip like 35160WT,just most bay this programmer, another sulution all time have eny problem and trable....thats all.Because work with emulator not simple to and no guaranty its work well.

Does Anybody know about big or expensive .... programer for erase this chip?

you mean on theier page, yes it stays... 35160WT you need extra adapter and also to choose in options, you´ll have to connect this adapter on separate port...

well received item used with 35160wt adaptor, says it takes from 5 to 40 minutes to erase, been over an hour then communication and hardware error? dont waste your money.

There is no ERASER for eeproms marked as 35160WT.
There is no tool that erases eeproms marked as 35160WT.
There is no way that you can exchange the eeproms marked as 35160WT without unsecure and dangerous programming of the FUJITSU processor located on the very same PCB.
There is no virgin eeproms marked as 35160WT as without internal ID its useless and without unsecure and dangerous programming of the FUJITSU processor located on the very same PCB.

For now only secure solution is a good eeprom emulator which i will not advertise here as its forbidden but i can tell you there is only one manufacturer that makes them work right...

This information is actual and valid today 21/11/2018!

Time will tell if there is a solution for that eeprom type 35160WT...

problem with emulators is when bmw do software update, it crashes the dash or fem/bdc if they are in there too, then you get caught, customer loses warranty ?

i am in contact with cgpro to find a solution as they say it works 100%, the cgpro 9s12 works good on 35080 3, 6, vp, 080dq, 160dq. used on cas3 read very fast. have not tried cas4 yet. as i have yanhua mini too for cas 4, but since getting these tools have no cas4 to play with. will keep you updated

Sorry guys, I've a used but recent 6WA dashboard with 35160WT EEPROM inside it.
I don't need to change km, in the 6WA they're less than in my actual basic dashbord, so reset km is not a problem.
I only need to "virginize" VIN, or write my car's VIN in place of current 6WA one.
Wich one programmer can I use for this purpose? I'm a hobbyist, I need to write only-once for my own car, so better a cheap programmer.

Daxxer, please add 35128wt option in special function. Without it you cannot read full 16kb eeprom, only 2kb.
35160 have 2kb and 35128 16kb

chips are okay, done F10 2015 without problems, in reading I selected all memory option, then loaded into the chip, erase inc top mileage bit, modified soldered back all good.
