TPX4 transponder

I am doing mostly german car keys, but starting to learn a bit for the others and expand little by little. I just bought some TPX2 and TPX4 transponders from China. My AVDI key tool reads the TPX2 correctly as TPX2/4D. However when I put the TPX4 it finds it as PCF7942/7944 and says "Cannot read transponder" like it is locked already.
I would appreciate advice if this appears correct or the chips are bad.

try cloning a key! tpx4 chips are re-usable

It says "Transponder error" when I try to clone. Looks like weird TPX4.

wouldn'd be the 1st crappy one - see em all the time. Glad i charge well - try another :)


also try another reader - a dedicated reader is best like Miraclone kit
