carprog with scenic year 2000

hi i try to change km in this cluster,with carprog v4.74
i chose renault scenic HC08 diag v0.5
all connection and supply 12v are good
the problem is that carprog read wrong value ie:9999001 km
i stop and not try to write the new value !
so i ask if it's normal for this car that carprog don't show me the right value ???
and if i write the new value is it safe or i will break the dash ???
please i need your help i'm confuse with this situation.

Hi save the dump read by carprog and post it here .Perhaps it can't read ok the data ,don't try to write for now .

yes thank you but now it been solved, you are right the processeur was corrupted and it give a wrong value,the custmor bring me another
used cluster and i program it and all whent good now.so thank you again,regards
