I have adbox for cable but I also have recently been fitted with an access point for sky digital and sky+.
Is there a box out there that I can play with to pick up a decent array of channels, I know that you cant get the sky channels but I was thinking of maybe a technomate or similar.
Am I hampered by the dish being fixed?

Since the dish is fixed you will only get channels that are on 28.2e. Most of them are Sky channels and you will need a valid subscription to view them but there are some FTV channels there too.

You can check out the channel listing here...

In fact, after looking at the listing, it seems they are all Sky Digital channels so the only ones you will get will be the channels that have 'Clear' as the encryption.

You're probably best getting a Dreambox DM500s.

Thanks for the reply Devilfish, I was looking at the forum posts all afternoon and I like the look of the open source box.
Would this be ok for my set up?
I have both cable and sat points in my flat.
Clapton.

Yes the open media would do fine. There's a discount code in that section.
