VW Gamma V from SONY - how to decipher

Hello. I have a radio VW Gamma V from Sony, I downloaded the data from the eeprom 24c04 but I do not know how to decipher the code. I know its location but I do not know how it is encrypted, I wanted to do it myself, so I turn to you with a question in which direction I should go to learn how to decipher the codes stored in the EEPROM? If someone would be so kind and although a little steered me how this is done.
