Fiat 500 Abarth remote key problem no open, low signal

Hallo
i have this key for Fiat 500 Abarth
the remote no work
battery is 3.3V so is full
when i press any one of the 3 buttons, with a RF frequency anal. i watch display and i see a very low signal
so the cyrcuit recive energy from battery but signal very poor at 433
what could be?
which component damaged?437540

would it not be better just program a new remote key for the customer as the time spent on fixing is it worth it .

1) do you know where find a new one virgin? i don't know....

common on these to fail -they aren't worth fixing.


plenty of distributors sell these. But if your not a locksmith then call local one. sure he'll save you mega bucks

but this one, was a curiosity have a very low signal.... and i would understand what could it be
i can buy a new key i know and i have Advanced Diagnostics
someone know if i can program it trought diagnostic or i have to read eeprom?

if i buy a new one aftermarket...to progam immo with advanced diagnostic, can i program it without read eeprom?

Find same type key fob even locked and replace PCF, you will don't need precode or program anything

In Poland we got several sources, but shipping to Italy will be expensive and need time. Try search on ebay or other local auction service, even the used one fob will be good for you. By the way check your board for missing components - i've done today laguna card also with week signal - the reason was missing capacitor on antena line. Check also soldering on all components, but look out for microswitches, they don't like temperature and flux.

You can program key with MVP pro but you need smart dongle to read and make precoding.

Get Tmpro 2, or IOterminal ( IO had an update and now it reads the new fiat500 nec bsi as well :) )

Zedfull should do that job by OBD

You can read near all bsi as i said with ioterminal. It directly shows remote bytes too, so you can prepare it with only a hitag programmer.
