RW4 plus has id46 cloning built into it , rw4 doesnt and for id46 on rw4 you need the p box for id46 cloning .

the m box can be added to both for id48 cloning .

best bet is stick to rw4 plus as id46 is built in , and if trading in even an old cloner the price can be heavily discounted

keyline ultegra or keyline mini with extreme kit offer same coverage but with mini you need internet connection for 4d and 46 cloning , with ultegra its stand alone and like silca only id48 needs internet

The RW4 Plus has ID46 P-BOX integrated.
NWKeys had a cracking deal that finished 31 DEC.
RW4 Plus + M-BOX for ?999+VAT but you had to part-ex any old existing cloner.
I found an old basic Chinese cloner that I'd had for years.
Included in the deal was 10x GTI chips, and 10x T48 chips which on their own are ?200, so the units only cost around ?800+VAT

And main difference now is that last update is not released for RW4, only for RW4+, maybe they quit support for those old machines, will see when next update came out...

rw4 is the old model that replaced with rw4+ some years ago,does not use electronic heads anymore,those replaced by silca gti chips,you can search for a fresh stp program and find easily what can do and with what chip

This device is very good, but only for cloning the key, you do not have a key do not make a key

silca rw4 latest software i just bought one version 2.00 software i am trying to update with silca software wintransfer trough usb port driver okay keeps giving me error can somebody which has the machine check what is the latest software for this machine

04.02.086 latest rw4 firmware,when you try to update you must choose correct port,if so you will see the serial number of the machine then you can proceed

trying to update silca rw4 machine for last 2 days is driving me mad under device manager says usb serial port 3 using silca wintransfer got a driver from member newone update keeps saying wrong machine and not bringing up serial number download update

and says the type of machine is different from the set one i selected rw4 i am losing my mind could the driver maybe not installed right can somebody check that has the machine if is listed under silca usb serial port and could the machine be updated any other way

from stp you choose machine table then hit new,then you remove serial camble from the rw4 and add machine,after hit update
