I want to know key programming procedure please. I have captiva 2007 all key lost . Can I do new 7936 virgin in ignition and wait 10 minutes ? 7936 need precoded data ? Or need to have tech 2 ? Thanks

Captiva uses 7936 precoded.

why you need 2?

If you don't do 2 ,red light of key on dash board will be lighting and error dtc on Immo procédure unfinished. But car will start no problem. Same problem of vw golf 4 when you want to do 2 keys and you do only one.

what you talk?
i doit lot of cars for lost key and programming only 1 key and all ok
only for old ford you need programming 2 keys if all key lost
