Hi,
I?m a little bit confused about using a KTS 520/550 with Piwis on PC-Hardware.
Is this actually possible?
Flashing the KTS 550 is not a problem, even with older Firmware. But connecting it to Piwis Tester II is says no VCI found.
Could a KTS ever be converted to a VCI for Piwis Tester II?
I read a lot about Piwis Tester I v.29, v.xx to work with a KTS. But this Software is not for PC-Hardware.
Is there a Piwis I for PC?

Thx.

Some bosch kts can be used as piwis I hardware, not as piwis II.

Is it than possible to install a Piwis I Tester on a PC based hardware? Or can it only be install on a KTS650 or original Piwis tester. On YouTube I saw a view videos where it seemed they were running on a PC.

Afaik the pc-based kts 520 and 550 and some stand-alone kts 650 (there are 3 hardware revisions, i think only one of them can be converted) can be used with piwis I software.

Ok that is a good info.
Now the hard thing is to find a Piwis I which will install on a PC. The versions I found aborted the installation because of wrong Hardware.
Is there a special version needed or can the Tester somehow be extracted from the Package?
