FVDI abrites bmw e60 Error when disabling CAS security mode

Hi. I read This problem i have the same do you get any results? I get a error "cannot enter special mode" it is for bmw e61 cas3 and i using fvdi 2015

Regards PeterNo! My next test will be to remove the cas and hookup to the cas adapter with 12v and try to access it this way...

Many bmw e60 can only be programmed when removed.

hi i think its encrypted cas had 2 off them already its not the tool cas needs to be downgraded on bench

E60 is usually CAS2 in my experience. I've yet to come across an encrypted CAS2, but that's not to say there aren't any.

I've yet to come across an encrypted CAS2, but that's not to say there aren't any.I agree it does not give the error about software being v32 it just doesnt allow me to disable security on the CAS... Ive had the same issue with 2 e60s and no problems with an e70...
