Hello all, I am back again with Tuner problems - shock!
Does anyone know where I can buy a new ALPS BSBE2 (DVB-S2) Tuner?
My DM800 has started playing up again. When I select any of the Sky HD channels the signal rate goes to 0% and the box stops working. If I select a normal channel and then restart the box it comes back on OK working with "normal" channels.
I have tried rescanning the satellite but as soon as it attempts to scan a DVB-S2 transponder it dies again. It was working fine until recently.
Has anyone had similar problems, knows a fix or anything?

not 100% if you can change the tuner in a clone lol
not unless you open it up and check the tuner first
if it is replacable
unless someone else can confirm this either way :)

I have had issues with Disc HD only but never freezes the box. You can change the tuner in the 800 np. You can grab one on ebay.de is where I spotted one

If that's the case could the above issues be explained by the tuner being loose/not being correctly inserted?

this what a plug n play tuner looks like
if you look at the top you will see the plugin bit
or it would be soldered
