RNS510 update problem

Hi everyone, today I get a RNS510 on which someone try to make a firmware update and the screen went white. After reading on dk I found that must write 2 flash chips to revive it. S29al016 and s29gl032. I was lucky and found flashes for my sw and fw. I write it and I get image again, the unit is stuck on vw logo. I try to make firmware update and it works until 90% and throw me gateway error 202. After making the first attempt to update the firmware I lost the touch screen. Ive tried multiple firmwares from 900 to 4120 and same problem. If I use the swl fix software the radio starts but without touch screen it is useless. Ive read that the 2680 factory firmware can revive the touch screen but this is the single firmware that I cannot load, the radio stuck on searching swl image screen. I manage to upload fw 900, 1200, 3810 and 4120, all has gateway error 202 which is fixed with swl fix software but no touchscreen after that. Before the first update attempt the touchscreen was working because I was able to confirm that I want to install the fw with the touchscreen. My initial firmware was 0900, hw03.
Can anyone help me?

Hi!This is B unit right?Why not try to update directly to SW5238?

Have you solve it? Other way i can give you a little repair firmware to clean gateway stuck then you can update first 3980 and then if its supported 5238..

Hello, i have same problem with my rns 510 7L6035680 from VW Touareg, tried to update from SW 0522 to 5238 but i got error 202 Gateway. I tried to restore with SWL FIX but Touchscreen not working. Also i tried other firmwares - 4120, 3980, 2680, 1300, 1100, 900 but without success , same Gateway 202 error.

You should use 1102, 2664, not 1100 or 2660 will not accepted because you have 7L unit.

I have a problem with firmware update on the 1T0035680C, HW 06. The update is running, but really slow. I mean 38% per 24hours... I tried burn it on CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R, another DVD drive (it would be new),... but still same problem. Could any body help me please?
