BMW Gearbox Changed - Stop Start Fault - Help

Hi guys,

Have a BMW 1 E87 2007 118i Petrol here which has the STOP START function.

It has had the gearbox changed to one which doesnt have the STOP START sensor.

ECU is an MSD80.2

Now the car keeps flashing the STOP START error in the dash showing DTC: P15BB DME Zero Gear Sensor

Can this be coded out somehow at all or will I need to do a DTC delete? Or maybe even a Software reflash?

Definitely try with VO first ,then worry about reflash later :)
