You can do that one with k-line cable . If you need I will find out what the programme is called.

I think the cheep and easy way to that with Vag commander (china clone). K-line, kombiinstrument, read, change and write. Max 4min. Or if u have some flash reader than desolder read and tachosoft will show you what and where change. I never do passat so in tachosoft I see two types of dashes. I think best will be sent dump.
