This is NOT a question about fuel mapping and ignition angle adjustments, rather a general interest. Never really dealt with petrol cars but got few requests now. Major brands in my area are Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Ford with small 1.3 - 1.8l engines. What's the best solution to improve them apart from switching cat and second O2 sensor off? Also, I'm curious if these cars require physical blocking of EGR valve when disabling it in ECU. With diesels it varies, some need to be blocked, like Toyota, with some you only need to disconnect EGR plug (like on Pajero Sport). What's the situation with petrol engines like?

bigger injectors and more powerful fuel pump, remove catalytic convertors, and instalation of bigger inlet.
