good afternoon! I've been collecting info for a while to learn a little about this world and I want to get into it but I have doubts.
I want to modify in an e90 2007.
Only need to modify kilometers in the dashboard and CAS?
Can I do it with Digiprog and r270?
Thank you.

r270 can do dash and CAS but i would recommend you usin r260 for CAS and r270 dash.
otherwise you could do dash by r270 and if its CAS 3 by OBD.

I do not understand what you mean with DPF tire alert?

I mean by ODB with Digiprog 3. first do. dash with r270 and before you connect it back, try CAS with Digiprog 3. there are several instructions here in forum or spread over the internet.

First: in the instrument panel by OBD with Digiprog.
Second: CAS with R270. True?

Dpf reset by diagnostic.

No!
First IC with r270.
Second CAS by OBD with Digiprog. But only if it's CAS 3.

CAS with digiprog, I guess with the OBD plug, right?

EEPROM will be desoldering, put it in R270 and then re-solder to dash?
Any precautions? Thank you!

Yes that's right.
But have a new 35080 Eeprom ready for the dash if old one can't be erased by r270.

Good evening! Is the original EEPROM modified or does it need to be replaced?

I don't understand the question.
You need to backup the dump from eeprom, erase it and write modified dump back to the chip.

Oh, okay.
As soon as I get the r270 that I bought I put my hands to the work and tell you something. Thank you!

good afternoon! I have a doubt to see if you can help me ...
When connect digiprog to port obd to modify the CAS, the dashboard must be connected to the car or not?

Mate I would learn on a single memory car, you get the cas wrong and you will regret it,

learn on something that you only need to do dash,

And preferably something that the immo isn't in dash also (so car will still start and run if you make mistake)

I do not understand what you're referring to.
Does it mean I only do it in the dash?
DO NOT do it in CAS?

you have to do dash and cas, i personally remove cas and do direct on board. What diagtech2000 is saying is it is better for you to try a easier car first, like old toyota maybe. If you mess up bmw cas, car will not start and will need to be towed to a specialist and is costly to repair

Sorry for being so heavy, I speak Spanish and I have to translate to talk to you.
Is it better to do the CAS with the r270 than with diagprog?
I was thinking of doing it following this video of an e87 although mine is an e90, is it wrong?

Thank you very much for your help!

Hello, It's a good video I use this too to make a bmw e90, the difference is the bmw I made have cas 2 (can not do by OBD) I use R270+ for all. Just try and be sure of the type of cas is in the car can or not doing by OBD with digiprog. If not do all job with R270 and make cas to 0km and drive the car some kilometer I drive 50km for synchronisation with the 2 key (2 x 50km)
If you need help we are here friend

I just received r270 and digiprog, in the manual digiprog says that you can do DASH and CAS with digiprog. Can I try it with digiprog and if it does not work with r270 or is there any risk of breaking something? Thanks !!

Hehe, that's why I want to get information before I get my hands on ...

I do not have another car on which to practice :-(
With the r270 there is also a lot of brick risk?

I do not know anyone here who can help me, the only ones I've met who can help me are you ...
The brick risk is in the CAS? If it happened, buying another CAS could solve it?
thank you for your help!

diagtech2000

Yes that's it mate u buy a new cas (200) ish and get the car to Bmw to reprogram it (50) ish and pay them (100) ish to program it (if it goes wrong and u mess up the cas)

Or listen to the advice you have been given many times already and learn on a friend's/relatives car or even buy a scrap car for 100/150 to learn

Or don't listen and try and do your Bmw it's up to you,

I give up trying to help

Sorry to be so heavy ...
Can someone tell me exactly where the real risk is? In damaging the CAS from what I see, but why? For welding it wrong?

Hello friend, from my exprerience :
First : open dash unsold the eeprom read with R270 SAVE (it's very important) modify mileage resold back.
Second : See what kind of CAS you have if cas 3+ OK you can do it with digiprog (try if not work open it and try with R270) If it's not CAS 3+ you can open it and make 0 km (Save before making 0km it's important) and drive the car for synchronisaion beetwen dash and CAS (50km per key)

The manual of digiprog is for the original digiprog so if he tell can do the car by OBD maybe clone can not do it.
DOnt worry and try it we are here if you need some information.
