So this is a pic of the ecu data, from what I've read, all ecus until 2009 are safe to write via OBD, can someone confirm that ?

Ignasvw, what software did you use to edit this file ?

Yes you can write it.
I write more than 15 cars with FGtech with ecu edc17cp14.

When the car has edc17cp20 or cp46, fgtech will not write, only read.
You can't damage the ecu by obd.

Maybe it can take up few minutes with the text "WAIT DATA PROCES" sometimes 15 minutes.

Kind regards from Belgium

Can someone else please have a good solution, besides Volta, like Ignasvw gave ? :)
And remove P0401 also, thanks in advance!

Did you tryed with AES Egr remover 2.2 is a free software. It will work very well.
When it's not working, you need change manual adres from Winols...

Volta will not work for this ecu.

I dont know which one is bigger sh...t, aes, ecusafe or volta... As I saw, from all these free softwares you can only use ecusafe for dpf in some edc15c2 and that is all. AES fo sure will not work

So what will work ?

Look for hysteresis maps in damos and modify them.

I also saw in Titanium, a few egr maps, by setting them to the higest value will it not keep the egr closed ?
