Fox Racist Comments Cause Supermarket Chain to Pull Advertising
Comments by a Fox news presenter has resulted in a suspension in advertising by UK supermarket chain Waitrose who announced in a statement "We have pulled it because we believe it's the right thing to do. Our customers' views are important to us."
The comments made by Glenn Beck on Fox called US President Barack Obama a racist because of the way he reacted to the arrest and treatment of black academic Henry Louis Gates in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Glenn told his Fox audience the President was "a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture. I don't know what it is..."
