View Full Version : BLOCKED FILE? EDC16 VW TOURAN

Hello mates,

Have a problem. Downloaded file from VW Touran EDC16.
Made egr off but file can not be recorded via Kess, CMD, MPPS, Galletto.
Even original file is impossible to write.
Is it possible that file blocked somehow?

Tried this file, it uploading till 98% and than gives error. Car won't start!

I can not upload original file that was in ECU. Is there some protection or what?

If you compare your first file with original you will see that you had a bad read. a lot of FF?s in your file, now probably you need bdm to solve this issue

I have uploaded it, but car won't start.
During writing shows 100% succes and then error.
I found original file from VW but the same story. Spinning but won't start.
Where is the problem I can't understand.

you get 100% original VW Flash, extract from SGO file to bin, must work 100%
you have hardware problems on your ECU

i thinnk so problem is flash chip, so its hardware problem, of corse if eeprom is ok ?

I tried to write BIN file. Write 100% and than error.

In the file is only mod and a oc Tuning Tag not more . U have a Problem with your Tool , wire or u Write on bench without Immo off

write with bdm a Original file

Looks like not a BDM. But Can I write such file via BDM?

Some tools in that ecu make complete reading of flash,
Try, you do not have much to lose.
