Hi guys,
I made a launch control using edc vag suite for a vw sharan 1.9 tdi, I used the base map that was written originally in the ECU and modified it only to add a launch control, and when i wrote the map to the edu, with a MPPS V16, the car didn't start, can someone tell me what I did wrong please? :banghead:
I did the checksum with some diferent programs, and all of them gave me green light...
...yes i'm new at ecu remap :hopelessness:
Please someone help me so I can correct my mistake

When I try to write the original file the MPPS v16 software hangs up with the message "security access", i'm going to try to remove the dash fuse and see if mpps can write again...but was the checksum bad?, was the software bad?, I did make a big mistake and use the software with windows 10, but I don't know if that's the reason I f***** up...:shot:

You should reprogram flash on bench. Write ori file .

I don't understand why people use MPPS. You can better use galleto 1250/1260 for 10 dollar on ebay. Work better than MPPS, at least galletto will make checksum auto on EDC16.
So you need repogram flash on bench what dominik.m says.

Kind regards from Belgium

Thanks for all your answers guys, i'm going to give it a try without the dash fuse(s), if it doesn't work I will take the ECU to the bench, one more thing, in the guides they tell as to use a 5k resistor for the boot mode, is it ok to use a 4.7k resistor instead?, I don't have a 5k resistor lying around...

Hello
Your file is corrupted(wrong mpps read)
It's simple to do
Here is Your ori file
Write it by OBD by MPPS, if mpps don't work desolder 29f400 and reprogram by the programmer that file and solder back
Car must start and works 100%
