Have to use the Motorola adapter and T03 I believe.

*** Disclaimer, I don't have or use USAProg or the DSP3 ***

Disassemble the cluster to view the actual processor, then select whichever Ford vehicle on the DSP3 that has the same processor listed. Then use the appropriate touch pin connector and so on and so forth. I find that the bigger Ford trucks contain a few different processors, but the DSP3 lists them all. Also, in this forum, prepare to be trolled for questions of this nature.

what I want to know what processor this is and another vehicle selection that has same processor is it the hc9s12? that requires the t-04. just want to make sure because the configuration points are different than the t-03454192

no did not work tried that configuration tried to save file get error. that configuration above is the t-04 upside down (tried didnt work) tried the t-04 in the correct position that would be with bdm on bottom right (didnt work either) only thing i can think of its a different processor?

in your picture, it should be

GND RESET +5V
BKGD XX XX

The large area on the board is the ground plane, you can clearly see the top left is connected to ground.
