I need the Boostlimiter off

Uprated turbo means it can take any amount of pressure?
Maybe you want to set the boost limiter to an appropriate value, not removing it. .

Would be useful to know what turbo you have and what pressure it can take.

also a log with measured map pressure vs rpm will help you understand how it is working.
