Injector coding edc16c3 worrying

I have my own xsara Picasso I want to remove egr on,
I'm concerned by using kess clone it will wipe my injector codes.
Should I worry

Just recode injector and will be fine. BTW

Where do I find injector codes

You can read them with diagnostic scanner before remapping it
