KESSV2 and KTAG up to v. 8.xxx Working only internet. Now clones can update?

We know that there are many clones of these tools. Lately they are appearing clones that claim to be updateable by clicking on a socket the mcu nxp.
Are selling with versions not superior to the v8 since in the latter it is indispensable to be connected to the internet for its operation.
Does anyone know anything about the subject?
Ktag europe model nxp socket will no longer be upgradeable?
