Hi everyone,
Another problem airbag ECU if you can help please?
2005 Honda Civic 77960-S5B-E911-M1

There are 8 pin devices inside but none look like eeproms.
It has an Infineon micro, could the data be in there?

That one you can do by obd using carprog.

You mean with carprog on the bench?

You can do on bench or on car. Look for honda obd on carprog, or honda direct for connection 12v ground and k line

I am just looking on carprog, can't fint the exact ecu number but can see a few with the same plugs.
But none with infineon micro's though.

It wont be infineon.
Just try the ones you have.

It's a TMS module, use Carprog go to Airbag then to Honda then to Diag, select Civic connect OBD using special Honda adaptor and it will work.

Can I use k line instead?

Found a ecu with simailar number on carprog and cleared ecu OK.
Hopefully that would have sorted it.
