View Full Version : Starview 5 is it as good as 4

Guys, Just tried to order a 4 for M8 and told no longer available, so ordered a 5. the usb on the v4 was much easier that the 3. with the five is it just as easy and same process, notice no logo just bin - is this all i need - why do I see loaders. :vroam:cheers

Not had a 4 but the usb is very good as long as you remember to switch off the box before pluging in or taking out anything from the USB2 socket.
As for a loader as far as i know the 5 doesnt need one.

As far as I can see there is not a lot of difference, there is a security chip to try to stop clones but for the user no dramatic if any improvement (imo) the bin is all you need and I'm sure someone will correct me if wrong but the loader is possibly for the 8882 error fix.

Just installed a 5 all went perfect used the 2.03 file the only thing about it is each time I switch it on I have to download the epg I phoned the supplier who tells me this is normal ???
