CarProg update?

Hi, I just got one of those Carprog clones from ebay and I would like to know if there is a way to get the update in the screenshot below.

I saw on the CarProg sticky there is a 8.21 software but on my program it says 9.31, would the 8.21 give me all the features?

To update the firmware I need to flash the Mcu and get that J-Link thing right? Can I clear crash data from the airbag module using EEPROM because that works on my software. Sorry if I'm asking too many noob questions.

First off all u must verify if is a good clone. Creat an test adapter. Then you can reflash with j-link new firmware. The firmwares are on this forum. U can clear airbag modules using a1, or eeprom clips. On some modules u need to desolder eeprom.

Ok im going to try doing eeprom. Can you tell me which one is the eeprom on that module below? I think it's the RL66 but not sure. Also which one of those adapters should i use or do I have to desolder and if i have to desolder do I just connect the clip onto the chip? One more thing on the program none of the options says RL66 do one of those options work with it? Thanks for all of the help so far.
