Hi,
Had 2006, HDi saloon in today::eek:
Need to replace osr abs sensor but cant find the connector at moment.
Traced wire up inner wheel arch liner, presume it then goes into car.
Didnt want to spend too much time at moment as it seems that there are no sensors in the country, dealer or aftermarket!!.
The nsr wire disappears over the top of fuel tank.
Any help much appreciated.

try here, i dunno and 'frankly my dear i dont give a damm'
www.peugeotpartsforsale.com (http://www.peugeotpartsforsale.com)
given a choice of a set of "prevoisly enjoyed" senors or risking ?21+ vat of SOMEBODY ELSES money, work a look at trying 206 etc sensor, just get one from dealer, open bag carefully, cut old sensor off, 2x lucars, road test, rescan and see if 'the computer saya no'
if it happy, then jack it off again, cut the loom to length
and solder, heat-schrinter or SAT it, but it would be awesome to leave 2 double ended yellow butts connectors, supported with pure gravity.

hi the sensors on rear wheels you have to take the discs off. and the plug in just before the tank. is it broke or is it just given you the lights? mine just needed the rust knoking off and replaced it. hope this helps common problem with build up with rust

yeah, that rings a bell, but *DO NOT* under any circumstances clean the blackplate with a dremmel and wirebrush, without removing the hub, otherwise you have to say to the customer.
"yes sir, the ferrous oxide has forced the sensor away from being purpendiculat to the back plate, which appers to have put a wirebrush shaped GOUGE in the plastic ring in the hub, that will be ?80+vat, if you want that hub changing"

so what your saying is, if it hasen't dropped of by now it never will, or it's more than likly going to drop off next week.
beside a peugot driver won't apprechate the trouble and effort you took to get their car on the road.
EDIT
so let me get this clear, the car is going down the road, and object is in the road, driver
pannicks, and jumps on the brakes, drivers software tell hims to press harder, more pressure, more stopping power, so this little block of machined metal see the driver is struggling so it tries to help by REMOVING the pressure off the brakes, nice idea
i'll stick to mono system non-disc systems thanks

ok, that means will take you longer so you can charge him more.
don't forget to clip a IDC (i dont care) / scotchlok
on a randon wire should you take the dash out
just so you know it has one.

lol yea it was a bad thing ! but our mot is different to yours in eng ..its done in a gov mot center not in a garage so its totaly independant and sometimes you have to bend a little to get it through ...and if he doesnt wana bring it back i aint gona hound him as he knows what was done ......got 2nd hand 407 ones today out of a 6000 miles car so it will at least allow this one to go to mot with the correct parts in it .....front ones are sided rears arnt . and 207/307 are different compared today .

rear plugs for abs where above tank...access from removable panel below back seat . cut the old one and leave some wire below car tie new sensor plug to it and pull it through ...you must remove middle bolt in tank and wedge it down an inch ..

So to save people time reading this thread:
pug 407 rear abs sensor fitting, fuel tank in the way, rear seat in they way, remove all visable fixings, close eyes and yank.
old cable fixed, to body - no reason for it just to piss you off

lol its not fixed to the body above the tank .......
it's french "it's the opposite to what you expect, but makes perfect sense when explained"
Xavier when he fitted the tank, decided to leave the cables loose in order to make a 'flapping' noise at 60mph, no reason for it, just to piss you off.
so somebody was reading my last post on here!!

so what your saying was Xavier left the cables flapping, and Claude cable tied them to the inspection flap, so as you close eyes and yank it rips them out.
properbly the type of wire you cut because you have to, but then wished you hadn't cut it.
I dont do out on the pish, REALLY REALLY winds me up, in the big bad city, the grass is green the girls are pretty, and it's the pretty ones that ALWAYS have the knob-jockey, meat-heat, boyfriend, that stacks shelfs and drives a saxo
