starview 3 wont load firmware help

Hi i have a s/v 3 ok up until i inadvertantly switched it off at the mains .now i can not even load up the firmware to reflash it just says ld80 on the screen can any 1 help or have i ~~~~ed it up ,

can you get into the menu to do a factory reset.

When you are flashing with 8.04 press the download button on the pc (with your box off) and then turn it on just after you have hit the download button.
Keep doing this a few times.

sorted thanks.now just my mates sv4 to sort it says no signal but subbed bos works
