Hi guys, have had a search and can't seem to find any good info how I could convert files (movies) i have recorded with my DM600C on its internal HDD into DVD format to play at another house.

Surely others must have looked at this and cracked it. I do not want to go compressing the files and squeezing them onto CD, I need them to be on DVD and to autoplay so that I can give them to my mum.

The files are recorded as a .ts file format on the DM, they play great on my chipped xbox but it does not help me when i need them idiot proof to play on a DVD player...

What say you Kaos users?

taken from another site m8, so havent tried it myself

If you get elecard mpeg2 decoder from there Elecard Ltd. - Free download, MPEG2, MPEG4, AVC/H.264, DVD, shareware, freeware, codec pack, SDK, decoder, encoder (http://www.elecard.com/download/) and tmpegenc plus, you can load ts files into it and convert straight to dvd. You can alsoo get tmpegenc regular but that has a 30 day limit. That should do it. Also under other options in tmpeg under advance, change video arrange method to full screen keep aspect ratio 1 for widescreen and 2 for full screen. Good luck.
