Lexus rx300 2003-53 immo location

Hi can someone tell me where immo is located on lexus lx300 2003 and which transponder im using,

The transponder is 4D and you have to remove the dashboard to get access to the immo ecu.There's a shortcut if you don't want to remove the dashboard you have to remove the blower housing then slide your hand inside
The dashboard and then look inside...it's mounted with a 10mm.

WRONG! Rx300 is a 4C chip the immo is inside the ecu, behind the glove box. The target is a 93lc56 the pcb is printed (IC900).

i agree with you sir...
but i worked on a japanese RX300 couple of months ago and the immo ecu was right underneath the dashboard (mounted on heater core/evaporator housing) and the EEPROM was 93c66 don't remember the key(probably 4D/ ID67) and the immo dump was as same as ES300

Update is i manage to have coms with immobiliser in car with avdi , it reseted immo successfully at first i used 4c chip and security light didn't go off with fault showing wrong chip So then i used id67 and this also no start with fault B2794 unmatched encryption code after this i put 4d chip same fault with this also

Can u boys guide me where im going wrong in the mean time ive got ecu thinking immo is in ecu .after disconnecting ecu immo light still flashing!!!

No chips on back board of ecu however plenty 8 legs on front of ecu i can see l56r chip ???

If it has an immobox i suppose it should be : If not attached to ignition cylinder then it gotta be behind the radio.

Try id68. In my country it's called Harrier and i did a 2004 before and the chip for it is id68

How many keys did you learn to the car back then? Are you sure the procedure is correct?

In the USA RX300 = 4C all lost key eeprom only. RX330 =4D68 all lost keys via obd2. IC601 with (l56R)

Hi when i open l56r in avdi its asking to virgin but only see it as ecu denso not immobiliser?

They're is also another 93c86 on board! Could this be it?

ok first things first

did you try to start the car with a metal key?

did you check under the dash for a aftermarket alarm system?

did you read the correct chip?

ic900 should be correct chip for the 2003 rx300 93c56

but if its 2004 it should be ic2 93Lc56

where was the ecu???

also what is the VIN number did you check it to be 100% sure of the year?

if it is a 2004 you need to pull the IMMOBILIZER BOX and NOT THE ECU

also there are two different files depending on the country of manufacture...............

usa and japan have different files for the 2004 immo

but if its a 2004 you should just use the damn orange reset tool and get the hell out of there in 15 seconds

I reseted immo box avdi says 0 master key and 0 sub and when i put 4c,4d,67 in turn non of them are excepted, immo light flashes and key is not registered!
