The question is about EDC16x, MED17.x and MED9.x (Am not asking about EDC17)
Can FVDI 2014 read CS, PIN and learn the key for cars with those ECUs.
Some say yes, some say no.
I read somewhere that FVDI 2014 CAN read CS (find the the 7th byte) for Passat 2008 and Golf 5 2008, but on other side, some people say it can't.
So I don't know what to think anymore.
Is there someone who knows for sure. Someone who has tested it, or heard from good source, so this question be answered once for ever.
Thank you.

what do you mean with "not 100%" ?
Do you mean you are not 100% sure, or the device does not cover 100% all car models ?
Or it works just sometimes ?
Which models(ECU) can be done ?

EDC16 - you get 6 of 7 CS bytes and PIN, if you got working key you can try search missing 7 byte

I use this option few times and if I remember good it works. Most reliable method is dump from CCM and good tool to decode (now I use zed full but it is token based)
