W963 NEC key

I have a key from a client . The key start the car but does not open the doors. Car W639 from 2005
Battery are ok. Doors close and open with the dashboard switch.

No light when you press the buttons.

Where do I have to look? Any ideas what the problem?

W963 ? what thats for model ??? :) have some screen ? ;)

have some remote tester ? check signal of each remote function :listen:

check with diag when car see remote signal from key, maybe receive antena broken
or check EZS, maybe bad MCU series on pcb...like 4J74Y :listen:

If no light on key when pressing button, that mean you need repair PCB board and change all switch to be sure.

No need diagnosic for that.

This is the first thing you need to do.

Nec chip swapped to a donor key that I ve and problem solved.

I wil check later if I can save the old PCB.
