Hello,

I've got a DIM from a Volvo v70 2002 that needs repairing (usual faults - not always powering on/SRS airbag fault etc)

From what I've read I just need to clean and resolder around the dash plug and the micro and the array of fuses that are together?

Are there any components that must be replaced also?

Is there any other pointers anyone can give me?

Many thanks

I tried doing full reflow and changed the 1 capacitor at the top of the Board but it still didn't work! However if I put pressure on the metal plate at the back it all comes back to life?

There is a article below where a guy had same problem and he drilled a hole through the metal plate to put pressure on it, but surely there is a correct method for this problem??

Anyone know how to sort this pressure issue?
