I purchased a 2001 PT Cruiser with a starting issue. It came with a key that was obviously not OEM. I checked the OBDII code and it said invalid skim key. I purchased 2 OEM keys, had them cut by VIN number and bought a T300 key programmer. The instructions stated I needed to used the 39 Chrysler adapter with the OBDII cable. However, the key programmer has failed to connect to the computer. My code reader connects fine... no problem. The T300 just wont connect. Does anyone know if the SBB or CK100 will connect to a PT Cruiser? Or if anyone has ever had any luck with a different brand of programmer, please advise. The Dodge Sebring and I believe Neon are similar vehicles.

Type 2 adapter for t300 has always been a issue. The data is inverted with the correct dongle. The ck100 has no dongle, but they also made the same mistake with the switch.

Don't be put off by no cover, the red board you see generally means your getting a good one.
