your problem is that the vin number is missing in pcm and when the other modules ask out in ystem ther is no vin number that match that will give p1187
solution i used was t reprogram with ids and when it ask about the vin number is correct say no and then write the number again and it will work
i tried to get rid of that error code for a month with around 75 reprograming with no luck and when i said no and wrote the vin again every thing was working again

only reprograming with IDS solves this problem ... done that on several cars and tried many other solutions without luck
