Hello experts!

I'm an airbag guy by trade but I finally got a car that customer needs Immobilizer turned off.

Car is a 2007 VW New Beetle - 2.5 Liter, non-turbo, USA market

Now my question is, what do I need to edit to remove immo? Instrument cluster or PCM, or both? Or neither?
If PCM, do I need to dump flash or just EEPROM data?

I saw a post here: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/599524-2007-beetle-immo-off
It looks like they dumped the 95160 eeprom from the ECU. At this point I do not know the part numbers from the ECU or anything else, I only have Year, Make, Model and Engine. I will be able to get my hands on it tomorrow and can post which ever files are necessary.

Thank you for any tips you can provide!

Best Regards,
RM
