I read this car, and modified it but the mant require light up, went I try to reset it it wont let me I load up original file and it can be reset.

You try desoldering eeprom? I had the same problem with a 2010 4Runner wouldn't reset maint light if you find answer let me know I think maybe have to remove eeprom.

you just add 00 in a couple of bottom sectors... i dont remember exact addresses. but when i get to work, i will check and post..

add 00 to the following addresses for maintenance light. 1E4, 1E5, 1E8,1E9.
then reset Maintenance light.

Does that apply to all newer toyota clusters & eeproms? Denso, Yazaki etc?

I tried Mtool with 16 Sienna same chip, no problem . what programmer?

I've got the same issue on a 11 4Runner. The replacement cluster maintenance light works normally. After I change the mileage on lines 00-02 the maintenance light stays on and will not reset. I've tried zeroing the bytes on 1E4, 1E5, 1E8,1E9 as previously mentioned and it had no effect. Any suggestions would be helpful. The original dump with 140,785mi is attached.
